The players' goal in the campaign is to find it before Kazeroth - the leader of the demonic legions, who wants to use it to take over the world. Centuries after those events, the Ark became only the subject of stories and legends, and people stopped believing in its existence. Centuries ago it was protected from the forces of evil thanks to the eponymous magical artifact - the Ark. The story is set in an epic fantasy world. The game featured a full-fledged campaign with extensive missions, interactive dialogues with NPCs and cutscenes.
The game was created by the large Korean studio Tripod and was originally prepared for the Asian market, but over time it was decided to make it also available in the West in an English-language version. Lost Ark is an online action RPG in the free-to-play model, similar in general to other popular games of the genre, such as Path of Exile, Diablo or Torchlight.
